Oral Storytelling & Performance

Work with me to bring an oral storytelling show to your audiences. In English, for adults.

Come, walk with me…

To make sense of complex change, we need to disconnect from screens and reconnect with the world around us. Without this, even thinking about hopeful, sustainable futures can be a challenge.

I use multi-sensory walking methodologies to help people and organisations slow down, pay attention, and explore their relationship with place, futures, and possibility.

Storytelling Shows

Under my stage name Ziyadliwa, I perform wise, witty, and wonder-filled tales for adult audiences. Each one-woman show draws on traditional tales, folklore, and stories from myth, legend, and history – occasionally weaving in true tales, too.
I perform across Europe in venues ranging from intimate bars and botanical gardens to museums, conferences, festivals, and private events.

A note on puppets

Taryn and Tarquin

Very occasionally, I perform puppet shows featuring Tarquin (a rather uppity ostrich from Namibia) and Taryn (a smart-as-a-whip rat from London’s East End). They’re interested in systems and sustainability, kindness and culture, and living a good life that isn’t particularly bad for anyone else.
