Walking & Sense-making

Work with me to craft interactive walks and participatory walkshops that are all about place, people and connection.

Come, walk with me…

To make sense of complex change, we need to disconnect from screens and reconnect with the world around us. Without this, even thinking about hopeful, sustainable futures can be a challenge.

I use multi-sensory walking methodologies to help people and organisations slow down, pay attention, and explore their relationship with place, futures, and possibility.

The main ways to work with me:

Ways to Walk

I design and facilitate immersive walks and walkshops that combine movement, sensory attention, and reflection. From single-sense explorations (scent walks, sound walks) to thematic journeys (futures walks, climate conversations, circular economy) – each experience is crafted to shift perspective and deepen connection to place.

I work with cities, cultural organizations, heritage sites, and groups interested in experiential learning and public engagement.

Custom Walking Experiences

Interested in a walk tailored to your context, community, or challenge? I collaborate with organizations to co-create place-based experiences that combine sensory exploration, futures thinking, or systems awareness, adapted to your goals and location.

Walk the Futures

My interdisciplinary research at VU Amsterdam uses place-based, multi-sensory stories and local walkshops to explore agency, desirable futures, and climate action. This methodology can be adapted for custom projects.
